Messages:

June and I will not be able to attend the service today. Our sympathy is with you at this difficult time. We want to say, even though you don't get to pick your neighbors, that the Walter Keim family would have been a good pick. We appreciated our neighbors over those many years. we send our love. Jim and June

To Donna and familiy I am sorry to hear about Wally Keim. My father Ron Eccleston knew him but my father passed away three years ago and on his behalf I wanted to express how my heart goes out to you and your family at this time of need. I went to school with Mike and I used to hear lots of stories of his grandpa.

Auntie Violet, Larry, Ron, Donna, Sid and families: I am so sorry for your loss. Many of my childhood memories are intertwined with your family. I remember Saturday nights at Midway and marbles and chocolate cake at your house. Memories of my Dad and Uncle Wally laughing away at some joke. Ginger -- my first horse that we bought from Uncle Wally. And then later when my girls were small how Uncle Wally always called us up for the annual sleigh ride at the Experimental Farm in Lacombe. I loved him and will miss him, but I do know that he is at peace. Hopefully the love and support of family and friends will help you as you adjust to life without him. May memories of happy times and the love of God sustain each of you. Kathy and family

I would like to express my condolences to the immediate Keim family in the loss of your husband and father. Wally was always very kind to me and I was saddened to hear of his lengthy hospitalization and of course his recent passing. My thoughts are with all of you.

Our thoughts are with you Donna and family its so hard to loose a family member . Doug/Marlene Black

Walter Keim was a great man and a huge influence in my life. His strong character, virtues, honesty and integrity are what our family has grown stronger on. His life was the foundation of my family and many generations to come. His passing is bittersweet in that we are sad that he has gone from our life here but we are happy an comforted that we will see each other again in Heaven. I spent a lot of time as a small boy with you and cherish the memories we had together. It was also a huge blessing that i was able to take the time needed to be with him in the hospital and our conversations and time together will be most treasured. I will miss you Grandpa, thank you for all you have given your family, i am proud to be your grandson, I love you.
