Messages:

Wendy,Emily,Alison, and Graeme It was an absolute pleasure to care for your father and husband Neil. You are an awesome family and it was great talking to you about your adventures. Love one another lots and enjoy all the great memories! Come and visit us some time when you are healed. Heather

Dear Wendy, Alison, Emily, and Graeme, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you now. I will miss seeing and visiting with Neil at the library and Bert Church Theatre.

Neil's Somerset, England, Cousins send their condolences and a wish that you will be at peace and enjoy your re-union with your Dad and other family members who belong to you who have passed away long ago. I have a favorite hymn found in the Latter-Saint-Church Hymn Book - It is hymn number 96 - what beautiful sentiments are written in the verses of that lovely hymn and I send those words now to you and to yours - As ever, Mom

Wendy and Family...You are in our thoughts and prayers. Neils humour is something we will always remember. We had a crazy conversation one day about "socks" and to this day i still remember it and laugh as it was such an odd topic, but fun. May you be blessed with all the peace you need to get through this difficult time. May all the prayers and thoughts of those who will miss him help you through this time. Sylvia & Joe Solis

Wendy, Emily, Alison and Graeme, I really can't express how sorry we are to hear of Neil's passing. When we saw him last (at our "reception" in Red Deer) he seemed to have turned a corner. As a newish father, however, I understand better now that he has left the best legacy possible - three great kids and a wife who will love him forever, and see him everyday in her kids. We will be thinking of you often, and hope to see you all soon. Tim

Wendy and family my prayers have been constantly with you. I remember a specific experience I had with Neil when he was discussing how difficult it was to go back for repeat MRI's and wait for the good or bad news. I was in the middle of a difficult time and suffering a lot of pain when we had that conversation. Neil really helped me get some perspective. I hope you will draw together as a family and know that there is much love and support around you.

Dear Wendy, Emily, Alison, Graeme, We were so saddened to hear of Neil's passing. A great guy, so friendly. We really enjoyed spending time with you at the cabin. We will be thinking of you all on Thursday, and we have made a donation to the Brain Tumor Foundation in Neil's memory.

Neil is an awesome individual who always brought a smile to our faces with his unique sense of humor and his ability to captivate us with his story telling. We could always count on him to laugh at and respond to our own bad jokes as if we were funny too! We will miss him but we look forward to seeing and laughing with him again. I'm sure Neil is bringing a smile to the faces of many where he is now. May God bless you all at this trying time. Remember we can be together again someday with those we love because of God's love for us. Our thoughts and prayers are for you all at this time. Gary & Jennifer Penner
