Mary Grace Haight

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary “Grace” Haight of Kathyrn, AB on November 14, 2012 at the age of 85. Grace was raised on a farm near Edmonton then moved to Calgary and raised four girls. She moved to her farm near Kathyrn in 1977 and lived there until her passing. Grace was involved with breeding and showing purebred dairy goats for many years. Her love of horses followed her through her whole life. It started when she rode her horse to school to teaching Pony Club at CFB and in later years watching her foals in the pasture from her window. Grace is survived by her four daughters: Brenda (Larry) Lanuk, Linda Kneeshaw, Wanda Bassett and Glenda Haight; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Keoma Hall on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
