Jerry Hubert Edmund Harriman
February 25th, 2012
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Harriman who passed away at the Tom Baker Center on Saturday February 25, 2012. The first child of Hubert and Lois Harriman, he was born and raised in New Richmond, Quebec. Jerry was married to Heather Wiseman in 1977 and together they departed ‘down home’ and moved to Alberta in 1978 where Jerry worked as a carpenter. He found his foothold with Rainbow Contractors and dedicated over thirty years to a company that he loved.
Dad will be remembered for his hard work and loyalty. He was meticulous about his work and always finished what he started. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the game of hockey, venturing into different projects in and around the house, lending a helping hand to friends and family and camping with his wife Heather and all the gang out in Carstairs. Dad loved the Lord Jesus Christ and learning about the ways of our Savior. He will be remembered for his quiet disposition, gentle spirit, sensible insight and practical wisdom.
Jerry is predeceased by his youngest son Timothy and survived by his wife of 34 years Heather, and two sons Jerry Jr.(Amy) and Andrew (Michelle). He will be deeply missed by his family and forever cherished by his mom, brother and sisters, brother in-laws and sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Jerry will be held at Airdrie Alliance Church,1604 Summerfield Blvd., Airdrie on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Heather, I was shocked to hear of your recent loss. Words cannot express feelings properly at a time like this. I want you to know that my thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this time. I am sure Jerry & Tim are enjoying their time together, although much quicker than expected. God has taken two angels into his flock that must have a very special purpose. I am thankful to say that God crossed our paths through George McDougall and this way enriched my life. May God bless all of you in a special way.
To Heather & family, May God be with you all now as you face this time of grief May you know the comfort of the Lord in your darkest hour of need. Know that Jesus cares for you when your souls are deeply in pain no matter what you may go through his love for you remains.
