Merina Mae Elisabeth Jacobson

Merina (Roth) Jacobson, age 77, passed away in Calgary on December 24, 2012. Merina is lovingly remembered by her children: Kelly (Christine) Jacobson, Tracy (Merv) Gibson and Dale (Betty) Jacobson; Granddaughters: Jennifer, Victoria, Rochelle, Aimee, Valerie and Laura; Sisters Melvina Patzer, Geraldine Krym; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward. Merina was born in Beiseker Alberta, lived most of her life in Calgary and taught Piano lessons for many years. She was active as a member of the Central SDA Church and spent hundreds of hours volunteering with the Sunshine Band, Prison Ministries and playing piano at the Forest Grove Nursing Home. She loved music! Services will be held at the Central SDA Church, 1920- 13 Ave. N.W,Calgary, on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Beiseker Level Land Cemetery ( 10 miles east and 1 ½ miles south of Beiseker) If desired, memorial tributes may be made to the Calgary Central SDA Church c/o Nurturing Ministry.
