After 22 years of operating as Personal Alternative Funeral Services® and Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services®, our Franchise Agreement has recently expired. Accordingly, we are now changing our name here in Trail to Clark’s Funeral Services.
To the many families we’ve served over the years, please know that we’re the same people, at the same address and the same phone number. The only thing that has changed is our name and website address. Our people, phone number and address remain the same.

Katie
Marinoski was predeceased by her parents, her sisters; Abby and Helen, three of
her children; Gerry Buccini, Rick Parczen and Libby Marinoski. She is survived by her children; Patty
Garcia, Laura Marinoski, Theresa Bernes (Gordon) and Rachel Cameron,
grandchildren; Danielle, Josh, Amanda, Justin, Thomas, Katelyn and Nickolaus,
and great grandchild; Ava. Katie started
her life in Yugoslavia. Her first years
were war years, but she survived and immigrated to Canada. She grew and thrived in her new adopted
land. Her passion in life was
children. She had seven of her own. She was an outstanding mother and her love
for children overflowed to the many children in her dayhome, who called her
Granny Kay. Her second passions were a
tie between cooking and gardening, but as expected, all the children voted for
cooking. She had numerous health issues
throughout her life, but faced them all with courage and dignity. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to
a children’s charity of your choice.
