George passed away at the Didsbury Hospital on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the age of 95 years. George will be lovingly remembered by his family, children; Robert (Fay), Gary (Pam) and Sharon (Les). Respecting George’s wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation in George’s memory may be made to the Rosebud Health Foundation, Aspen Ridge Lodge, PO Box 962, Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0.

Marty and I just wanted to say how sorry we were to read of the passing of George. We both have fond memories of him at the many Remembrance Day ceremonies at the school. I especially remember greeting him each day as he delivered the milk to Ross Ford for the milk program I ran while teaching there. Please accept our sincere condolences to all of the family- kids and grandkids. Yvonne
to the Wilkins family: I remember George with fondest memories at all the Switzer family reunions. In the early years, I do recall all the milk and milk products he supplied at our picnics and gatherings. A very sweet, gentle and kind man. We were certainly blessed to have known him.
