Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of Lorne's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please take care of yourself and I hope your own recovery will be quick.
Due to an unexpected event I was unable to attend Lorne's Celebration.I am one of the boating group that get together on Wednesdays, we enjoyed Lorne's company and extend our sincere sympathies.
Brenda and Mike, we just cannot express in words how sorry we are about Lorne's passing. He will be remembered as being larger than life with a personality and humour to match. Wish we could be there tomorrow and give you a big hug and raise a glass to celebrate a life well lived and well loved!
I was lucky enough to work with Lorne for 3 years at the passport office. We spent many hours, talking about fishing, dogs and his boats. He always had a warm smile, and great jokes to share. I was devastated to hear of his battle against cancer. The world lost a great man, he was a gentle giant, he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Sending love, prayers and waggy tails to his family.
Brenda, I am really sorry about Lorne departure for a better world as we hope. I keep in mind my best souvenir in time of a brother in law and a friend thereafter. I wish you & Michael my very sincere sympathy and a lot of courage to carry on in life. Sincere regards! Gilles
Mike; Please accept my sympathies on the passing of your Dad. I understand the two of you were close. May your many fond memories provide a strong sense of immediate and lasting comfort to both you and your mother. Sincerely; Robert Scott
It was a privilege to have known Lorne. Our thoughts are with all his family at this time.
Hello Brenda and family, I was a childhood friend of Lorne. My memories are long and deep. We may have lost touch over the years but the memories can never be erased... I am shocked and saddened at your loss and if you ever want to reach out and touch a long not forgotten past, please give me a call 604-240-4176.. I too had my encounter with terminal cancer... I am still here and I am not sure why ???
