Robert James Bickell passed away at home in the loving arms of his family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 80. Bob was a very dedicated worker, loved the outdoors and driving the open road. He spent the majority of his life moving dirt as a dozer operator, and participated in the building of many roads, dams and oilfield projects throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. A modest and loyal man, he was always there for his family and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine; daughters, Elizabeth and Lana; sons-in-laws, Calvin and Bruno and his grandchildren, Devon, Cameron, Mira and Sebastijan. Our family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all involved in his care. A Celebration of his Life, “Bob’s Coffee Hour”, will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Crossfield Community Centre.
