As a school and university student Bill was active in hockey, rugby, soccer and track and field. Bill was an ardent golfer and played well until six or seven years ago when deteriorating health caused him to retire. Following Bill’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.

Messages:

My family and I extend condolences to Bill's family. His mom and my mom were sisters, so we knew him best during the years he was growing up in southern New Brunswick. While he was "Bill" to everyone else, we always knew him as "Buddy". His love of golf began early, as he caddied and golfed from his pre-teen years onwards at the Algonquin Golf Club in St. Andrews, NB. We were always proud of his success both in sports and professionally as a petroleum geologist.

Bill loved his golf. I remember he spent hours at the driving range at Canyon Meadows and in the winter at the old Dynamic Golf Centre. He was one of my favorites all those years I spent working out at Canyon Meadows. We'll miss him. My sincere condolences to you and your family Mrs. Craig.

Dear Ann and family: We are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing, he will be missed by the gang at canyon meadows as well as many others. He was much loved and one of a kind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerly Ray & Marrianne

Our condolences, Ann. We were sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We have many memories of him as we traveled a similar path in our careers through Imperial Oil and Dawson Creek and then with Husky. We always enjoyed his 'larger than life' personality, great story telling ability, and even his golf instruction. He will be missed. Al and Fay
