DEVOLIN, Ron
We honour our Husband, our Dad, our Grandpa, our Brother, uncle and friend for being the man he was in our lives. Ron was born July 20, 1936 at Penticton, B.C. and passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was a man who lived his life by the “Golden Rule” and was a dedicated husband, father and grandpa. Farming was his passion. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary; daughters, Brenda and Beverly; and by his granddaughters, Libby, Isabel and Emma. Ron is also survived by his sisters, Barb, June; and brother, Ken and his wife, Grace; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a multitude of friends.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life was held on Monday, March 17, 2014 in Didsbury.

I came through this page and felt how very much I miss this man. He was like a father to me. I will always remember and honor him, his wise words, his jokes through card games and the warm feeling I felt around him. I believe he is in a good place now.

Dear Mary, Brenda, Beverly and the entire Devolin family: We were very saddened to receive the news of Ron's passing. I(Gail) feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to have met Ron and through Roy, feel as though I have known him for years - Roy, many times, has spoken so highly of Ron and cared for him deeply. Our world would certainly be a much better place to live, should we have more Ron Devolins. Please accept our very sincere sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this very difficult time. Love Roy and Gail.
Dear Mrs. Mary, Brenda, and Bev: I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Ron. Even though I spent a little time with Mr.Ron, he truly won my heart over and treated me like family. I have only fond memories of my time in Calgary and in Didsbury mainly because of Mrs. Mary and Mr. Ron embracing me like one of their own. Once again, I am very, very sorry for your loss. God bless you Mr. Ron and the whole Devolin family. Peace and Love from Wesley xo
