Messages:

I was saddened to hear of Alvin's passing even knowing that he had not been well for some time. Doris, you and Alvin were great friends to Mom and Dad and great neighbours on 11th Avenue. I know that Mom and Dad had many wonderful camping trips with you and Alvin. Our thoughts go out to you, Nadine and your families. Even in his declining years, your visits to Dad in the Belcher meant a lot to him. Sincerely, Earl Charlton

We were so sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. We remember him coming into Action Parts so many times always with a friendly greeting and warm smile. He was one of the really "nice guys" who are too rare in today's world. We know that warm memories will always be held fast in your hearts. May God give you comfort and strength through this difficult time. Sincere sympathy, Verda & Henry

I was sorry to read of your Dads passing. I always enjoyed talking to him and your Mother(he knew some of my relatives in his growing-up days). My sympathy to you and your family. Please give my condolences to your Mother. Thinking of you-Peggy Mollerup

Doris I was saddened to read of Alvin's passing. I worked with Alvin and his brother Morris at the Union dairy way back in the early 1950"s.I had the opportunity to meet you and your children when you folks were building your home in Bowness. I often would see Alvin in the later years and it was always a pleasure to stop and chat with him. He was a fine gentleman. Sincerely Howard Waters
