There is so many memories,Eric used to hunt with my husband ,and I worked with Lori,we all became great friends. We drifted apart but never forgot the times we had. I was going through some stuff medically, we went there after I was released from hospital,he just looked at me and held me in his arms while I cried. Eric was a great man and was tuff on the outside but mush in the inside. He was a great man and will never be forgotten, he was our crazy Frenchman . Prayers and thoughts Lori,Cory and Megan
Eric was very good friend of mine when I worked as an RCMP constable in Airdrie for 5 years from 2005 to 2010. It was my 1st post and it was 1st time living away from home. However, on a regular basis Eric would accompany me on patrol in Airdrie's rural area which included Crossfield as a part of the RCMP Auxiliary program. Eric became a good friend of mine and i'd forget about how far from home i was when i spent time with him. During our patrols usually at night we shared many laughs constantly babling in French. Eric backed me up on many calls through those years including some that were high risk. I wish I could have seen Eric in recent years since I transferred to Nunavut. The North was a tough time for me but I always felt better when I thought of my old friends like Eric who were there for me in Airdrie. J'espere que tu vas bien au ciel mon ami. Martin Noel
Im terribly sorry to hear about Eric passing. My thoughts are with you all. It will take some time to heal but remember Eric will always be with you . I enjoyed having Eric and your family as Neighbors here in Airdrie. I still have the plants you gave me when you moved away and I will always remember all of you including Elko and I will always have a special feeling for your family . If there is anything I can do don't hesitate even if you need someone to talk to . Dave 28 Woodside Cr.
I knew Eric for the role he played as an Aux member of the RCMP in Airdrie. Being another Aux member I got to know him fairly well. He was a quiet unassuming individual and a dedicated Aux member. I know that he was respected by the members he rode with and they very much appreciated his assistance. My sincere condolences to his family.
Laurie to you and you're family I offer my upmost sympathy on the loss of your husband , a wonderful father , a loving grandfather and a superior friend. Our prayers are with you at this sad time. You two were Shelley's rock when Doug passed away and she wouldn't have done as well as she did without the support from you & Eric. For that I am thankful! I wish all the best to you and your family... Remember what a remarkable person Eric was he will forever be at your side!!!
I am sorry to hear of your loss, and in your families time of grieving, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
