Dear Kathy and Grant: It is with sadness and my sympathies that I read about the passing of your dear mom. I enjoyed chatting with her and meeting you and your family while your Mom and my Dad were bedmates for all those weeks at the Rockyview. I am relieved to know that her suffering is over and she can finally rest. I will long remember her referring to me as "lovie." Sadly, after Mary left for Chinook, my father took a turn for the worse, and his pneumonia caught up with him and he left us on Thursday February 6th. It was a very hard 3.5 weeks for us and the last week I was at the hospital around the clock until he passed away, and fortunately I was with him. May they both be in a better place free from their final struggles and in our grief, may we all be comforted by warm and special memories. Best Regards, Sandy Shuler
Dear Grant, Kathryn, Steven, Jennifer and Megan: You will miss your Mother and Grandmother but I will always think of the joy she took in sharing family celebrations with all of you and how proud she was of her three wonderful grandchildren. She was a beautiful woman and will be missed.
Our sincere condolences to Grant & his family on the passing of Mary. She was such a nice lady & good friend to my Mother.
Thanks for all of the love and care that you gave our sister. She was so happy to see all of the family and the love that everyone showed. She had such strength in trying to communicate even though it was very difficult. She is at peace now and we are so thankful. Blessings, Joan and Ralph, Pat and David and families.
