Eva Marie Moran

Eva Moran passed away in Calgary on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Castor, Alberta to Ejler Johannes Nielsen and Ane (Poulsen) Nielsen. Eva grew up on a farm in the Garden Plain district. Her education began in a one room country school, then at Hanna High School and continued at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. She began teaching in one roomed country schools then spent 31 years teaching in various schools and positions in Calgary. Eva is lovingly remembered by one brother, Henry (Irene) Nielsen; one sister-in-law, Doris Nielsen; and 3 nieces, 3 nephews and all their families. Eva was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Elmer Nielsen. No Funeral Service will be held. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
