Shaun O’Brien passed away at home in Airdrie on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Shaun is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra (nee Cole); brother, Tim; sister-in-law, Diane; brother-in-law, Graham; aunt, Rita; cousins, nieces and nephews. Shaun was predeceased by his parents, Timothy and Elizabeth O’Brien and brother, Vivian. Shaun worked for Sears for almost 25 years and was well known for his wood carving. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at The Links, 12 Woodside Rise NW, Airdrie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shaun’s memory to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Canada, 3100 – 246 Stewart Green SW, Calgary, AB, T3H 3C8.
