With great sadness, we announce that our sweet and loving mother, Barbara passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 86, in Calgary, with her family by her side.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Meg (Bryan) Ortman, Jennifer Gibson, Deb (Kelly) Johnson; son, Doug (Francine) Gibson; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
As a family, we thank the staff of Extendicare Hillcrest for their kind and caring treatment in her final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Extendicare Hillcrest, 1512 - 8th Ave NW, Calgary, AB on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm.
