The Reverend William Douglas Waite of Didsbury, Alberta passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Doug is lovingly remembered by his family; wife, Jean of 60 years; children, James (Joyce), Paul, Leslie; son-in-law, John Thompson; and four grandchildren. Doug was predeceased by his daughter, Janice. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church in Didsbury, AB (the church that he served as clergy for from 1976 – 1989 and continued to be a member of until his passing) on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
