WALSH, Ruth Marie
November 1, 1931 – October 18, 2014
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ruth Marie Walsh on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Ruth was born in Stettler, AB on November 1, 1931. She is lovingly remembered by two daughters, Trudy (Mike) Jones and Judy-Lynn (John) Atkins; grandchildren, Mark Walsh, Shane, Steven, Ryan Scott; great grandchildren, Kora-Leigh and Techwynn Walsh, and Keegan Doye; her brother, William (Dorothy) Rachar of Chilliwack, BC as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Thelama and William Rachar; son, Donald (Dusty) Fred Walsh and grandson, Shawn Doye. Ruth chose to be cremated and will be honoured at a gathering for family and friends at the Eagles Club, 9303 - 5 St SE(Southland Dr. and 5th St.) Calgary, AB on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Salvation Army, 420 – 9 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 0R9.
