Messages:

Dear Mrs. Wright and Families It is with great sadness hearing about Pete's passing. Pete was a very happy-go-lucky fellow, always smiling and telling stories at Canadian Tire. I had the pleasure of working with Pete in housewares; he was such a congenial, helpful person with an attitude that deserved a gold star! A great angel is now looking down upon all that knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. With sincere condolences, Linda and Vern

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I got to spend alot of time with Pete, as well as Joann. ( I bought her red Vega, with the yellow strip, LOL) I worked at Canadian Tire 302, from the day it opened to 1984. I worked with Peter and there was always a good antic to play as well as alot of hard work. Pete standing in the tower, calling down to customer service and always having something to say, I will miss you Peter, you meant a lot to me, you showed me alot and mentored me. I want to play one Canadian Tire Social Club song just for you. The Rodeo song, you and the rest know the words, Rest in Peace, you will never be forgotten.

Dear Joann & family, Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Harold worked alongside Peter for 15 years. Peter was a great mentor and an even better friend. We still remember his many tricks after all these years and we always have a smile on our face. Peter was always there for me during the difficult times. We will miss him dearly. The world is such a sorrier place without him. He will always be with you in spirit, and you will always feel him with you. Love Harold & Shirley.

To Pete's family my prayers are with you in your time of sadness.I was a co worker and good friend of pete words cannot express my sorrow, what we have once enjoyed we can never lose, all that we loved becomes part of us.Work will not be the same without Pete's smiling face.

It was a pleasure working with Peter at Canadian Tire. He was always such a positive and very helpful individual. He would be so excited about his trips and when he returned he took the time to tell us all about them. He will be greatly missed at the store and I know that he is resting comfortably now. To his family, the memories will always be there and the sorrow you feel at this time will fade. I will keep you in my prayers.

All the lucky Canadian Tire folks who had the opportunity to work with Pete over those 42 years are left with great memories. I worked with him from 1992 to 1996 and he was a great mentor to us as a leader both professionally and personally. I remember competing with Customers for "Pete- time" - and of course the Customers always won. Many condolences to the family and friends. Our thoughts are with you.
