HART, Ann Lorraine
November 16, 1944 – October 12, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Lorraine Hart (nee Spicer) on Monday, October 12, 2015. Ann was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Keith Alfred Hart; son, Derrick (Leanne) Hart; grandchildren, Brianna and Rylan; daughter, Cheryl Ann Blakely; and mother, Betty Spicer. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Ann was a very strong, caring and fun loving lady. Ann’s passions included crafts, baking, sewing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Ann’s special ice wine and wines will be greatly missed. Ann blessed and enriched the lives of all who knew her and will forever remain in our hearts. May Ann be at peace and in the arms of her dad, Doug Spicer; and brother, Jim Spicer and all those who have passed before her. In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held at the Delacour Hall (from Stoney Trail, go 10 km EAST on Country Hills Blvd, cross the railroad tracks and go 200 yards and turn LEFT, the hall is on the left hand side) on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations made in Ann’s memory to the Peter Lougheed Centre, Unit 28, 3500 – 26 Avenue, Calgary, AB, T1Y 6J4.
Messages:
Dear Keith, Cheryl and Derrick: We were so shocked to find that Ann had passed recently. So sad to hear of an old friend from our days in Edmund Heights. I always enjoyed Ann's company and would sometimes see each other while shopping in Costco. She is exactly my age and am sad to imagine her illness at the PL Hospital. I didn't know if she knew that we lost our daughter, Jenny 3 years ago this November 1st. Life is cruel sometimes. Our Blessings to your family and prayers for your hearts healing. Dianna & Roger Michie
To Betty, Keith, Derrick, Cheryl and families, our deepest sympathy to all of you. Ann brought an unforgettable light into everyone's world. We hold tenderly in our hearts Ann laughter and her bright spirit.
Our deepest sympathy to you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you
Saddened to hear from you, Keith, of Anne's untimely passing. Christmas holidays won't be the same without her warmth and hospitality. We've lost a couple of good one's this year, haven't we?
To Betty, Keith, Derrick & Cheryl: Although I only knew Ann briefly a long time ago, I think about the trip to Vegas with her and Derrick with a smile! Ann was such a joyful wonderful woman who I'm very glad to have known and I'm very sorry for your loss. She will be missed.
I am deeply saddened to read about Ann's passing. In our recent talks you had so much hope and love for your precious wife, may there be better days ahead for you Keith. Wayne Ashby.

I am so sorry for your loss. While I did not know Ann, I first knew of her through her wonderful grandma, Annie Trimmer. I know you will savour the many great memories of Ann and the ways in which she enriched your lives. I have these kinds of memories of Mrs. Trimmer, my fairy godmother whose kindness and caaring for me and our family, when I was growing up, I will never forget. I can imagine the great relationship Ann shared with her grandma, and the kindness and caring that filtered down to the next generations. God bless and comfort you all. Most sincerely, Lorraine Branter.
