JEPPS – Hubert "Hugh" Charles
February 17, 1925 - October 1, 2015

Hugh Jepps, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Born in Redland, Alberta to Hubert and Winnifred Jepps, Dad was the eldest of six children and attended school in Rosebud. He is now reunited with his cherished wife, Gladys.  Dad was a WW II veteran, having served in France with the Calgary Highlanders. Mom and Dad were married in 1951 and soon after, Dad began a lengthy career with Mobil Oil Canada, retiring in 1984. Dad made a commitment to Christ in his mid-twenties, and the rest of his life was devoted to his faith and service to his Lord. He served in various roles at Bethany Chapel, worked with youth at Camp Okotoks, with seniors at Chinook Nursing Home and with the Gideons. Dad is lovingly remembered by his two daughters and son-in-law, Sheila Jepps and Leslie and Myles Prange and three grandchildren, Andrew (Cristina), Allison and Daniel.  A Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Chapel, 3333 Richardson Way SW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m.
