The family of Delbert Earl Klinck regrets to announce his passing at the Didsbury Hospital Long Term Care at the age of 84 years. Delbert was born in the sandstone hospital at the south end of Didsbury on December 24, 1930. He was raised on the family farm at Westcott where his passion for farming was developed. That passion kept him on the farm until 2002 when he moved into Didsbury with his wife, Rejane. After moving into town, Delbert and Rejane enjoyed many outings with friends and family in and around the Didsbury area.
Delbert is lovingly remembered by his wife, Rejane Klinck; daughter, Deanne Janzen; sons, Stuart Klinck, Keith (Paula) Klinck and Daniel (Joelle) Klinck; grandchildren, Nicholas, Amy, Ryan, Mettea, Ty, Laura, Alan, Roger and Mason; great grandchild, Brayden; and sister, Beulah Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Lola Klinck; sister, Evelyn Adams; brother, George Klinck; wife, Gladys Klinck; children, Gladine and Allen Klinck; brothers-in-law, Bert Beaubien, Dave Adams, Barry McSorley, Gerry Rodrigque, Bert Setters and Vic Nolius; and sisters-in-law, Denise Beaubien, Carmelle Rodrigque and Rolande Beaubien.
A Celebration of Delbert’s Life was held at the Westcott Hall.
