Debra Diane Kelley-Oxbury of Drumheller, beloved wife of Darren and mother to Drake, passed away after a long and brave battle with multiple sclerosis on Saturday,  June 20, 2015, at the age of 44 years. Debra was born January 17, 1971 and raised in Calgary, AB. She lived the majority of her life in the community of Southwood before moving to Drumheller in 2011. She was the daughter of Helen and Roger Kelley. She married Darren on May 18, 2008, after a six-year engagement. Drake Erin was born to them on July 2, 2005. Deb loved to be outside with her daughter and the animals in their yard, enjoying her flower garden. Long walks at the dog park with an extra large coffee were some of her happiest days. Her daughter, animals, friends and family were the most important things in the world to her, maintaining a close bond with her “sisters” her whole life. Besides her loving husband, Darren Oxbury and daughter, Drake, Deb is lovingly remembered by her mother, Helen Kelley (Kaun); in laws, Eileen, Elwood (Babe) and Dawn Oxbury, Nicole (Steve) Cale, Corey (Jodi) Cronkhite; “sisters”, Jennifer (Todd) Koivuneva-Story, Brenda (Cedric) Soriano, Sherrie Bosch, Dee (Chris) Mudd, Emma Bedard, Marnie (George) Ballane, Laura (Rutger) Niles; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and especially Casey and Kandi(Charlie). Debra was predeceased by her dad, Rogerson Kelley.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Southwood Community Center, 11 Sackville Drive SW, Calgary, AB on Tuesday,  July 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debra’s memory to the Canadian Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 2394, Drumheller, AB, T0J 0Y0.

I will always remember you with those cheeks, that smile and some of the best times of my life. Even though time has put some distance between us, Often I find myself wondering how the heck deb is doing when a Pink Floyd song came on. I have nothing but fond memories of you and for that I thank you sweet lady...love your friend...Ron
