Messages:

On behalf of the family of Johnny and Bessie Botheras, I'd like to extend my deepest sympathies for you loss of both Charles and Jeffrey. Both were older than me but I remember riding my aunt Nancy's bus to school with both boys. My Nanny (Bessie) thought the world of both of them as well as the entire Radford family. A donation to the Special Olympics was made in honour of Charles and in memory of Jeffrey too. May God bless you all...

It is with much sadness that we have learned of the passing of Charles. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories as he was an integral part of our lives while attending Horizon School. His smile, his eagerness to achieve, and his willingness to help were always appreciated. He was an avid ceramic student and loved to see the finished product. He was fortunate to have a mother to advocate for him and willing to assist in any way possible so Charles could have oportunities for growth and development. He will be missed by many. I shall always remember Charlie introducing himself as "Mister Charles Radford" and that he wanted to buy my yellow Rabbit Volkswagon so that he could drive it around. We in Special Olympics shall dearly miss Mister Radford and all his crying ways! Get lots of heavenly strikes for us, Charlie!

I was saddened to hear that Charlie had passed, but also lifted to know that he is now reunited with his family members. I will miss Charlie in many ways but especially knowing that I will never hear him say to me "Bye Shelley, have a good day. See you tomorrow!" To the loved ones in Charlie's life and to his many friends, I send my warmest hugs , sympathies and heartfelt prayers during this difficult time. To Charlie I say "Bye Charlie, have a good day. See you tomorrow. I will miss you"
