Careline "Dorrie" Doris Reid

Careline Doris Reid (Dorrie) passed away on September 2, 2015 at the Cedars Villa Extendicare Retirement Home in Calgary Alberta at the age of 92. Dorrie will be remembered by her son Greg (Christine); daughters Janine of Calgary and Monique (Doug) Mair of Montreal. Dorrie is also survived by her five grandchildren, Marshall and Laura Douglas of Calgary and Andrew, Bryan and Scott Mair of Montreal. She was predeceased by her first husband Murray, second husband Harry Taylor and brothers Steve and Tony. Dorrie and Murray shared a passion for the airline industry and had a combined service record of over 60 years with Air Canada. They moved from Winnipeg in 1965 to Montreal to follow Air Canada’s maintenance base relocation. In 1984 they relocated to Calgary upon retirement. Dorrie will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor that prevailed even as Alzheimer’s and dementia progressed.
