Larry was born June 22, 1945 in Claresholm, Alberta and passed away peacefully at home in Stavely, Alberta on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
Larry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa; his children, Marni (Dana Brown), Kasey and Sydney, Shawna (Lionel Gibbs), Paul (Jodi) Delaney and Burke, Christena (Paul McKeage) Evan, Decllan, and Ciarann, Colin (Rachel) Jayden, Kent and Lily; his brother, Tom; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Gail; mother, Goldie; and sister, Jackie.
Larry’s love of farming started at a very young age and he had actively farmed since he was 17. Recently he enjoyed preserving the past through the restoration of older equipment. Larry loved the outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and snowmobiling. He enjoyed many trips with many friends. Larry had an appreciation for good, clean vehicles. He enjoyed acquiring them and driving them. Larry’s quick wit and inappropriate humor will be missed the most.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life was held in the Stavely Community Hall on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM.

Dear Teresa and family, so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I did not know Larry for that long but once I got to meet him I always looked forward to seeing him. I always enjoyed sharing a coffee with him and sharing a few stories. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear about Larry. I will always remember the first time I saw northern lights was when Larry was driving me home after babysitting Paul and Christena and the lights were dancing around the sky. Larry was a good neighbor when we lived on the farm. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
