Lorne Johnson was born December 17, 1962 to Ted and Lorna in Markdale, ON and passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the age of 53 years, after a long, hard struggle with cancer that he fought until the end. Lorne was surrounded by all the family that could be there with him at Dulcina Hospice, Calgary, AB. Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marsha; mother, Lorna; sisters, Sheila (Doug) Miske, Gwen (Lyle) German, Tammy (Troy) Holt; Marsha’s children, who had become a big part of his life, Jennifer (Graeme) Tomlin and their children, Parker and Clark; Geoff (Morghan) Morrison; as well as nieces and nephews close to his heart, Shane & Amanda (Zackery, Zane and Zoe), Kyle & Lindsey (Colt, Chet and Decker), Kyle & Kass, Mike & Arlen (Ivo), and Anthony & Jenn (Ronan and Ramsey). Lorne was predeceased by his father, Ted.
A Celebration of Lorne’s Life will be held at the Clubhouse at 160 MacEwan Ridge Villas NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorne’s memory to Dulcina Hospice, 110 Evanspark Manor NW, Calgary, AB, T3P 0N4.

I was very sorry to hear about Lorne's struggle with cancer and his recent passing. I have many great memories from years ago when Lorne and my brother, Brian, would be up to their shenanigans and watching them get out of their many predicaments with Mom and Lorna. Those two could never do wrong in our mothers eyes. Rest in peace my dear friend. My sincere condolences to all of Lorne's family. Marilyn
