It is with heavy hearts that our family says goodbye, for now, to our Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma as she has gone to be with the Lord she loves. Ruth Koster passed into His presence on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the age of 90 years at Evanston Grand Village in Calgary, AB. After 29 years of missing her beloved husband, Len Koster she is also joyfully re-united with him in glory.
She was born on June 13, 1925 in Davidson, SK to Frederick Karr Orton and Anna Ida Lucinda Orton (Heinrich), the fourth of their nine children. She was married to Len Koster on August 31, 1950. They had five wonderful children. Ruth loved her family and supported her husband’s ministry. She had the capacity to handle every situation that came her way and always put her family’s and other’s needs before her own.
The family would like to thank the Cochrane home care staff for their two years of support and assistance and the staff at Evanston Grand Village for their care during the last nineteen months.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bow Valley Baptist Church, 54 West Aarsby Road, Cochrane, AB on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
