It is with great sadness that the family of Alvin Lacharite announce his passing on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Vulcan Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Alvin was born in St. Rose de Lac on June 29, 1942.
In 1967, he began a career at Brandon Chrysler Dodge. He continued working with them for the next 26 years, until 1993, when he and his wife, Marlene moved West to pursue further opportunities with Chrysler. In 2001, they settled in Vulcan, AB to enjoy their retirement years.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Marlene of 48 years; and his sons, Shane (Calgary) and Todd (Lethbridge).
In keeping with the wishes of Alvin, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alvin’s memory to FCSS, Vulcan, AB, T0L-2B0.Messages:

It's so hard when you miss someone. But, if you miss them, it means you were lucky. It means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing. Uncle, you were missed more than you know. So sad to hear the news.
