PARIES, Dolores Augusta Teresa (nee Lassalle)
Dolores Paries, 79 of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Dolores was born in Fernie, BC on September 11, 1936 and was married to William (Bill) Paries on February 19, 1955, they were married for 61 years. Dolores will be remembered for many of her famous sayings, to her children, “this too shall pass”; to her grandchildren, “of course you have room for ice-cream, it will just melt in the cracks”; and after every large family meal, “oh my..that was so good..I am so full, I will never eat again”.
Dolores is lovingly remembered by her children, Pamela Dew and Patrick (Michelle) Paries; grandchildren, Crystal, Coleton and Cruz; her extended Nova Scotia family, Alan and Cathy Wright; and surrogate grandchildren, “the twins” Alison and Bradley. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Sophie and Benny Lassalle; and her husband, William (Bill) Paries. Dolores leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her family, grandchildren and all those who knew her.
The family of Dolores Paries wishes to thank all of the wonderful staff at the Bethany Care Centre (8th Floor) for all their kindness and support.
A Remembrance Tea will be held at 2135 MacKid Crescent NE, Calgary, AB on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.

I believe that both Bill and Dolores Paries instilled a kind, caring and helpful nature in Pam and Pat, which will be passed along to successive generations. Dolores' pride in her children and grandchildren was always "written on her face". Know that you were well loved and have the opportunity to pay it forward.
