Mona Pauline Peters, at 91 years, went into God’s hands with son, Jake (Manley) and his wife, Linda at her side. Wife of the late George Farquhar of Sault Ste. Marie, ON and the late Cornelius Peters of AB. Loving mother of Louise Strong (Fraser) of Woodstock, ON, Gene Farquhar (Sharon) of St. Joseph Island, ON, Bill Farquhar (late Janeen) of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, late Greg Farquhar of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Jake (Manley) Peters (Linda) of Didsbury, AB and Garry Peters of Didsbury, AB. Grandmother of Robert, Louise (Stephane), James (Jennifer), Jackie (Andy), Ryan (Amanda), Kyle, Sarah, Jesse and Josh. Great Grandmother of Brighid, Dayna, Jessie, Selena, Nathan, Courtney, James, Dana, Liam, Owen, Aidan, Emma, Brenna, Montana, Rory and Abbott. Great Great Grandmother to Abigail.
Mona has touched the lives of many through her talent and love of music, her artistry with yarn, through knitting and crocheting, and her love of small animals. Memorial donations may be made in Mona’s memory to your local animal shelter. An Inurnment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Sault Ste. Marie, ON at a later date.
