Sheila Marie Vuksanovich

March 24th, 2016

VUKSANOVICH, Sheila Marie

Sheila went to the University of Calgary and completed her Bachelor of Arts in English. She was a passionate musician, proficient in both the saxophone and guitar. Even while going through cancer treatment, she performed in Front Row Center’s production of Tommy the musical. She lived her life to the fullest, from travelling the globe to spending quality time with friends and family.

Sheila’s true passion, over all other things, was giving joy and happiness to others. She would ask for nothing, because all she really wanted was for others to smile. Her last and only request was for others to continue enjoying life.

Sheila is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Kent Miles; her parents, Peter & Wendy Vuksanovich. She is also remembered by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and innumerable friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Centre Street Church, 3900 – 2 Street NE, Calgary, AB on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 am.

Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to
She’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you.
A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here
And fills you with the feelings that she is always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safe within your heart

Messages:

I met Sheila briefly over a year ago. She cam across as very warm and friendly with a pretty smile. I wish I had the opportunity to know her better. I am thinking of your family in such a difficult time and sending condolences. I cannot imagine what you are going through. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace .

Dear Mr.& Mrs Vuksanovich My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this very sad time. I work at the Tower Cleaners on 10st. across from Safeway and Sheila worked at this location for awhile. When I seen Sheila's picture in the paper this morning, I was shocked. She was such a beautiful young lady with so many hopes and dreams. Rest in peace pretty girl. Sue
