Thinking of you all -- Donna, Parkview Gr. 5
To Dawn, Michelle, Doug and Wayne and all your families: I am sharing my condolenses with you upon hearing the news of your husband's and father's passing on July 3. I remember Donald as a friendly and engaging person at First Presbyterian Church, Edmonton, particularly towards me as a young man trying to find my way. He encouraged our endeavors as a High School Sunday class and youth group. I remember Donald supporting our desire to ski in Jasper and other radical activities we did such as wake-a-thons and dances at the church. He gave me good advice to keep trying for the young people even when the church seemed reticent. I am sad for your loss but I hope you are well otherwise. God is with you and will help you at all times but is also there for you in this difficult time. Best regards, Robert Proudfoot

There are no words that will ease what is one of the hardest things you have to do. We will miss our long time friend and wonderful neighbour.
Dear Dawn Marie & Family - we are so sorry we couldn't attend Don's service but you have been in our thoughts. Our last memories of Don are the time we spent on our visit to you a few years back - a great time reminiscing! Jim also fondly remembers the time he lived with you in Edmonton - he didn't know Don well but certainly learned to appreciate the man you married!! Our love to you all and keep him close to your heart.
