Messages:

My sincere condolences to the family of John Greaves. May you cherish the memories and moments you spent with John. May God's promise found in Isaiah 25:8 bring you comfort and hope in the days ahead...

Deepest condolences to all of John's family and friends. John and I took Air Navigation together at Abby Sr. in 1981-2, where he drew a sizable archive of cartoons which I still have. We met again 10 years later working at Huntingdon Duty Free and hung out a lot together. We shared interests in music, and I have a few "mix tapes" of British new wave bands that he loved. We saw BB King at the Orpheum in January 1993. He was gifted in so many ways and I admired him immensely. He knew how to connect to everyone with a great sense of humour. Just seeing him coming towards you put you in a good mood: you knew you'd be laughing soon. I was lucky to know him and to be his friend. I will cherish the memories. God bless you all.

Janet ,I was very shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing .I pray that you will "Know the peace of God that passes all understanding "

My condolences to Janet, Mr. and Mrs. Grieves and Stuart. As part of the John, Debbie, Tim, Sandy, Randy, Steve and Russ Bakerview Elementary gang who remain in our memories and our actions today, John will certainly be missed. Quick with wit and ready to back up his friends John was always in the thick of it. In grade 7 we all marvelled at his ability to draw and create humour. While we all went our separate ways after high school, whenever we crossed passed we always passed on what information we had about the others. Friends like John remain friends regardless of distance or time. I along with the others will truly miss him. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Janet & Family. My thoughts are with you. What a surprise. Having followed John's medical journey, I had hoped for different outcome. He will be cherished by you all. My condolences
