Kenneth Arthur James Pennington

March 22nd, 2017

PENNINGTON, Kenneth
1931 – 2017

Ken passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Calgary, AB at the age of 86 years. He was born in Lethbridge, AB to a British immigrant family and was a proud member for the Lamont clan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to ride his motorcycle.

His Reserve Military career of 22 years began with the Engineers followed by the Signal Corp in Calgary and finished with the Service Battalion. Ken immersed himself in the cowboy culture and spent many an hour Texas two-stepping at the Ranchman’s. Ken grew up with two sisters, Pat and Shirley.

He was the father of three children; grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 3. “Old Icky”, as he used to call himself, will be sorely missed.

See you on the other side Ken.
