William "Will" John Vandenberg

William “Will” John Vandenberg of Calgary passed away at the Dulcina Hospice on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Gertie; daughter, Kari (Kerry) of Calgary; son, Greg (Kaley) of Airdrie; and daughter, Renata (Jeff) of Calgary; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Liam, Cassie, Jack, Ashlyn, Lucas and Ella; sister, Toni (Ad); sister-in-law, Cory of Holland; sister-in-law, Isolde Nicks of Calgary; as well as many nieces and nephews. Will was in the high-rise window cleaning business in Calgary since 1960 until he retired due to his illness.
A Celebration of Will’s Life will be held at the Centre Street Church, 3900 – 2 Street NE, Calgary, AB on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Will’s memory to either Dulcina Hospice, 110 Evanspark Manor NW, Calgary, AB, T3P 0N4 or the Samaritan’s Purse, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, AB, T3J 5H5. A special thank you to the doctors and staff on Unit 46 Special Services at the Foothills Hospital and at the Dulcina Hospice.
