Frances Eckstrand

With love and sadness, we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Grandma – Great. Frances passed away peacefully on September 5, 2018 at the age 98 with family at her side. She lived her life with grit and grace.
Frances will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn Meyer and Rod (Valerie) Eckstrand; grandchildren, Natasha (Cam) Lawrence, Tawnya Meyer, Warren (Janice) and Scott (Pearl) Eckstrand; great grandchildren, Royce, Riley, Raelynn, Mathew, Cayden, Levi Eckstrand, Nicholas, Alexandra Lawrence. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Roy in 2004, her parents, Robert and Anne Smylie, brothers, Robert, Douglas, John (Jack), Ronald, son-in-law, Donald Meyer.
In honouring Frances wishes a family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy. She will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery beside her husband.
