Iervasi, Dean Michael (Dino)
July 20, 1965 – December 4, 2018
Dino was born in Calgary on a warm summer Tuesday the 20th of July 1965, to Salvatore and Emily (Anhorn) Iervasi.
You could say that Dino was a true Italian favourite: the baby and the only boy; both of which made for some adventurous days for him and his two older sisters. He grew up in Albert Park in a time where life seemed to be much simpler: where neighbours, family, and friends knew Dino as the friendly, happy-go-lucky, and ever-trusting kid down the street.
Graduating from Forest Lawn High, he went on to work for Texaco Gas, Alberta Brewers, and then found his perfect fit with Lynn Wood Chev Olds and Shaganappi Chev Olds , where he was honored as salesperson of the year many times over. After leaving the car sales industry, Dino embraced entrepreneurship when he formed his own thriving landscaping company.
Dino so enjoyed spending time in Radium at his vacation home where he could relax and go fishing at a moment’s notice while cruising along on his Harley motorbikes. Throughout his later years, he continued to plan his dream move to Mexico, a goal that will now go unfulfilled.
He leaves behind his only child Aimee (Mother – Lorrie Scoville) of Calgary, his mother, Emily Vold and spouse Terry; sisters, Diane Iervasi of Calgary (Sarah-Jade, Jonathan, Daina, Emilie), Janet Holm (Steen) of Kelowna, BC (Natasha (Brian); brother, Jeff Vold (Candice) of Consort, AB (Natalie, Rylie, Liam).
He also leaves many Uncles, Aunts and cousins in Canada, Australia and Argentina.
Dino was predeceased by his father, Salvatore, a paternal passing that forever changed Dino. We know they have found each other again and spend their new found time together relaxing on the water with their fishing rods in hand. Dino was known and loved by many; he will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Executive Inn, 2828 - 23 Streeet NE, Calgary, AB on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
