NIKOLAUS (MIKLOS) LAUTNER Born in Lebeny, Hungary, 16-Nov-1932
On March 7, 2018 our beloved Nikolaus, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peaceful surrounded by loving family. His love will be missed. His jokes and humour will be missed. His missionary spirit and testimony will be missed and those who loved a great game of cards will miss him. He told the best stories of his childhood in war torn Europe and his struggles with starvation and life as a European refugee. He was our Patriarch, our leader, and our friend. As a bachelor, he claimed a family that he didn’t father and sealed us his own. His beloved Mary was loved and adored by him until his dying breath. They are dancing in heaven together now and both have gone on to bigger and better things. Our hearts will hurt, temporarily but we know he will be waiting for each of us with outstretched arms & his warm hugs.
