Robert Joseph (Bob) MacIntyre

After a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s then cancer, Bob passed on November 22, 2018 at the age of 74.
Bob was born in Drumheller on August 4, 1944. He was the third oldest son of Ian and Mary MacIntyre of Rosedale, Alberta. He took three years of the Chartered Accountant program by correspondence, attended night classes for 5 years at the University of Calgary to obtain his Management Development Certificate. He joined Gulf Canada in 1967 and was retired in 1995 at age 50.
Through the years Bob was a Leader with the Cubs; enjoyed singing with the Gulf Canada Choir, Calgary Hospitality Group and Highview Community Choir. He served as Treasurer for the Gulf Canada Social Club and Highview Community.
Bob will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda (nee Leonhardt) of 51 years and their son Brent (Kathy), grandchildren Carter and Ava, as well as brother Jim. He will be remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ethan, an infant grandson, predeceased Bob in 2002. Bob was predeceased by brother Bill and his wife Marie, as well as brother Don.
