Joseph Thomas Nelson

Mr. Joseph (Joe) Thomas Nelson, of Sundre, Alberta born on April 27, 1935, passed away at age 82 on April 15, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta.
Joe was the beloved husband of Sheila Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents Caroline & Edwin Nelson, his brother, Charles (Bud) Nelson; and sister, Ruby Nelson. Joe is survived by his wife Sheila (Frame) Nelson, his daughter, Belinda (Nelson) Coggins (Jason); stepsons, Dale Lawrence (Nicole) and Kurt Szul; stepdaughter, Christina Crouch (Frank); sister, Shirley Nelson; and grandchildren, Kyla Lacroix, Xander Lacroix, Taylore Lawrence, Christopher Lawrence, and Connie Crouch; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Donations in Joe's name to Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcome and appreciated.
Special thanks to the staff at the Foothills Hospital. Also we send heartfelt gratitude to our many family and friends for the food, flowers and mostly the love.
