Rosemary Susan Peterson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mom, Rosemary Peterson, after succumbing to a long battle with dementia.
Predeceased by her parents, siblings, husband, daughter-in-law, Heather, and grandchild, Lauren, she leaves to remember, her children, Rosemary (Brian), Arthur (Janet), and Jill (Murray), grandchildren Stephanie (Cameron), Meghan (Jesse) Kelsey, Isaac, Kait (Matthew), Ashley (Stefan) and Shelby, great grandchildren, Emma, June, Cora, Trina & Jonah, Ben & Logan.
Rosemary will be remembered as an exemplary seamstress and quilter, with a fondness of gardening and reading. She also spent many of her years volunteering in the community of Crossfield, specifically at the Farmer’s Market, W.G. Murdoch High School, and the Crossfield Public Library.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Crossfield United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosemary’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Society of Alberta, 1130F – 44 Ave. SE, Calgary, AB T2G 4W6.
