Lovely service today. Bill was a good friend and neighbor to Mom and Dad (Jim and June Lore). When Dad had his open heart surgery, Bill would come over and his visits were very comforting as he knew what Dad was going through. He often gave Mom and Dad a ride to crib when they were unable to drive. Know that his kindness and his sense of humour were greatly appreciated by our family.

We're deeply missing a dear friend. My father and went on a father son vacation in the mid 1940,s to a relatives resort in the Qu'appelle valley in Saskatchewan. Bill and his parents were vacationing there from Regina. I met Bill and we quickly became friends. We returned home to Winnipeg and Bill and family to Regina. Fast forward to later that same year. I was on the way to the opening day of the school year and exiting the next street was Bill Ritchie. We renewed our friendship and it has endured to this time --- 70 plus years later. Hopefully the sadness of our loss will fade with all the good memories Bill left with us. Thank you for being you. Rest in peace my friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We had a great conversation just the other day. It was a pleasant surprise to hear him shouting out his window to get my attention. I will fondly remember him. Much love to all the family.

Got to know Bill just a short time ago at the Drifters. What a sweet man with a lovely smile. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May you find comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I'm very sad. Bill had a beautiful voice and I have so much enjoyed singing with him in the Drifters for this past year. Goodbye Bill, never stop singing wherever you are.
