Randy Loyal Wilson
August 12, 1955 – April 15, 2018
Randy Wilson from Carstairs, Alberta, passed away in the morning of April 15, 2018 in the Didsbury Hospital at the age of 62. In palliative home care for 2 months prior to his death, Randy passed peacefully in his sleep. Randy is survived by his wife Jackie (Carstairs) daughter; Dawne Tkachuk (Carstairs) her children; Teigan and Kellan; Daughter Crystal (Keith) Beley (Stony Plain) and their daughters Makayla, Alexa, and Tavia; and son Ricky.
Born in Moncton New Brunswick, Randy was the second child of 5 with his older sister; Barb Chappel (Moncton), Rick Wilson (Riverview), Bruce Wilson (Riverview),and Beverly Wilson (Moncton).
After starting his young family, Randy encountered health complications which resulted in him having a kidney transplant, donated to him by his brother Rick. From that point on it was clear that Randy was determined to beat the odds and fight through any obstacles he would face. He could be found at the arena most days of the week during the winter, if it were for the girl’s figure skating or hockey. During the summer months he would be situated at the baseball diamonds, either as a coach, umpire or spectator.
Randy was a dedicated husband and father who has completed his race of life and completed it as a true champion. There will be a private service held for family.Messages:
