I am truly sad to here of Lourene’s passing. My condolences to Gary and the family. Knowing Lourene for the last 26+ years through our golfing, she has made us smile with her stories and her kind heart. She will be missed.
I was shocked and saddened when I read the news of Lourene's passing. We met on a painting trip to Tuscany and I shared a condo with her and Brenda. We kept in touch because I go to Mesa in the winter. I came to visit her studio at Las Sendas and she came with me to the Mesa Art League. She won 'Artist of the Month' prize - I wish now that I had bought her painting but procrastinated--as we so often do. I remember her as being full of life; talented, and proud of her family. Do accept my condolences at this sad time.
My deepest condolences to Gary and all the loved ones of this amazing woman. Lourene had a way about her... an ability to shine brighter than the Arizona sun itself. Who knew that was possible? Her joy was contagious. Thank you, Lourene, for being a constant reminder of our purpose... to encourage one another and most of all... to love. You’re in the most beautiful hands now... and, my Dear, you are cancer free. That is the positive I stand on in this sadness.
Gary and families, I was honoured to be a friend of Lourene’s. We had a lot of fun times over the years. I told Lourene my favourite memory of her and Gary was watching those two shake a leg on the dance floor. She lived life to the fullest. She was a great mentor and will be greatly missed. Lots of love, Laura & Ian

To Gary and family: Quincy and I were very saddened to hear of Lourene's passing. We did not really know her until we spent a wonderful week together in Puerto Vallarta last November. We hace happy memories of the good time that she had and her remarkable spirit. She was game for any and all activities suggested including zip-lining, walking the entire malecon, swimming in the ocean, playing charades, and shopping! It was as though she went on that trip to as though it might be her last. We feel very privileged to get to know her and spend those lovely fun-filled days with her. She was truly an inspiration. Susan and Quincy
