David passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Agape Hospice after a long battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. David is lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Doreen; son, Andrew (Patricia); grandchildren, Zachary and Austin; brother ,Ron; and extended family. Predeceased by his mother, Shirley; father, Keith; and sister, Gail. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Agape Hospice, 1302 - 8 Ave NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1B8 or a charity of your choice.

I will forever be grateful to have worked with Dave and am very saddened to hear this news. Dave's sharp wit and observations as well as Dilbert postings were greatly missed when he retired, along with his guidance, mentorship and encouragement which can never be replaced. My deepest condolences to Dave's family as they face this difficult time.
My heartfelt condolences to the Erickson family. Dave was a great addition to our team here at Infrastructure and was greatly missed when he left. I will always remember him as someone who took the time to listen and to care. Rest in peace Dave, you deserve it.

My condolences to Dave's Family and Friends during this difficult time. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dave and especially our early morning chats about family, especially his grand kids and sometimes about work over our morning coffee. You could always depend on Dave to provide great advice about work issues - he was the go to person re projects. I always knew if I needed something sweet to munch on I could find some candy on Dave's desk. Dave you will be greatly missed by many -
