Dear Joyce both of us will miss you very much, you and Luc were most dear friends, since the early 60s, when the Navy brought you and the two boys to Live next door to us. Since then that friendship has lasted all those years, we have been lucky to visit you both in Ludce, BC, Didsbury, we have had the good fortune to see your home in N.S, with the help of the Dixon’s ,and Fenners, most of all staying. in your home in BC.a couple of times,, you also gave a welcome to our Son his wife and the two girls when they moved to Canada, on a visit to BC. Two of earths most dear, as we say The Salt of the Earth, may your sprites get the rewards they deserve. As ever Pat & Gordon L.,
A very strong lady whom I was and am proud to have had as my godmother. Together with Luc, Joyce has always been in my thoughts; am so lucky and privileged to have been able to visit Joyce over the last few years and listen to the stories her, mum and dad had to tell! Will miss her so much. My condolences and love are sent to Glen, Juanita & family. xxx
We were saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Joyce. She and Luc have been good friends since their and our mutual navy days in the early 1950’s, and we saw Joyce frequently as a most welcome visitor during her many trips to Nova Scotia after retirement. She will be remembered, not only as a delightful and kind person, but also for her fondness for peanut butter and canned beans. Our hearts go out to Glen and his family, and to her many other relatives and friends who will also miss her. Rest In Peace, Joyce, along with your dear husband, Luc. And Glen, your message of condolence hit the nail squarely on the head.

Good bye Aunt Joyce, you'll always be with me. We had many good times at Avonport Beach, family reunions, and when you came to Nova Scotia, as well as many other times. Rest in peace.
Sad that my last aunt/uncle has passed. Joyce was a wonderful aunt. However she is now at peace and enjoying the company of Luc again. Conddolencesto Glen, Juanita, Trina and Jodi
We are so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Although Luc and Joyce were relatives (second cousins) we only met twice, once many years ago when Luc was in the navy, and also a few years ago when we visited them at their home. However, since that meeting, we have been in touch regularly via email, so we have been able to keep up with all that has been happening with Luc and Joyce and their family. We will miss them! Ian and Bakham Hensbergen
Lorraine Toole, Harold Rafuse, Lillian and Bud Ewing are very heartbroken to hear about the passing-away of our longtime friend Joyce. Our greatest sympathy to Glen, Juanita and family. Joyce was a great friend when she lived in Waterville, Nova Scotia, we have not seen her for several years, but she was still a very good friend, she will be greatly missed by all those that loved her. May she Rest In Peace.
When me prayers were poorly said, Who tucked me in my widdle bed, And spanked me till my arse was red, Me Mudder! Who took me from my cozy cot, And put me on the ice cold pot, And made me pee when I could not, Me Mudder! When morning light would come, And in me crib I dribbled some, Who would wipe me tiny bum, Me Mudder! Who would me hair so neatly part, And hold me gently to her heart, Who sometimes squeeze me till I fart, Me Mudder! Who looked at me with eyebrows knit, And nearly gave me a king-sized fit, When in me Sunday pants me. snit, Me Mudder! If me fall off a horse, And worse come to worse, I know that me Mudder would be there, Because she be one that truly care. I Love Me Mudder! Thanks for everything mom - love you always. Glen & Juanita
