It is with profound sadness that the family of Lynne McKinnon announces her passing on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 after a long struggle with COPD. Lynne will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends; sons, Mitch, Brady, and Spencer of Calgary and Tyler of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Ceili, Raeghan, Ainsliegh and Tanner; brothers, Casey (Michelle) Hoogveld of Calgary and Jon (Tracey) Hoogveld of Kelowna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lynne is predeceased by her mother, Audrey Charlton and sister, Jeanne Hoogveld.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross 10620 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Wetaskiwin, AB, at a later date.
I had the pleasure of doing Lynne’s hair for a few years now and she was a very lovely lady. Terribly sorry, my condolences to the family.
