Morris, Sean

Dec. 1, 1962 – Aug. 18, 2019

Sean Morris, beloved husband to Carole, passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2019 after a courageous and long fought battle with cancer.  Sean’s final days were spent surrounded by family and friends as he took his final steps battling his disease.

Sean and Carole were soul mates, as anyone who was nearby could attest to.  They were married on Sept 4, 2010 in Calgary Alberta.  Their life together was full of escapades and exploits, enjoying and loving being with each other.

Sean was born in Fareham, England and immigrated to Canada at the tender age of 5.   Starting off in life so young with such a journey paved the way for a life full to the brim with love and adventure.

His incredible spirit and determination touched everyone he encountered.  Always a gentleman.  Forever kind and considerate.  One of the first to lend a hand.  A natural born leader.

He will be missed immensely by his parents Rosemary and Mike Morris, by his brother Liam Morris (Violet) and his sister Rose-Ann Wilson (Scott) with children Katya and Nicholas, numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, along with nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.

He will be remembered by a group of friends that grew up together in Calgary and have remained tightly knit, forever sharing tales and adventures whenever they get together.

Sean’s work was a very important part of his life, bringing him great pride, and gaining the respect and admiration of several that crossed his path.

Sean would also be the first to thank the incredible people that worked tirelessly and with such caring, to keep his health strong.

His Memorial Service will at Royal Canadian Legion, Chapelhow Branch 284, 606 - 38 Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta on August 29, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.

Messages:

My deepest sympathy to Rose and Mike and all who loved Sean, such an honourable, strong, kind and loving man. We have lost one of our very best.

Condolences to Carole, Colin and Morris family. I met Sean at Propak and he took me under his wing when I was an apprentice. You meet thousands of people in your life - some good, some not so much. But Sean had a huge impact on my life on how to be a good person and a good man. He is the epitome of what a man should be - Integrity, Kind, Honourable, etc.(I could go on-and-on) I am so blessed to have known you Sean and I am eternally grateful. And last but not least - Yes the toughest guy I have ever met - NAILS....... The hockey team up in Heaven got a whole lot tougher.... Thanks Sean R.I.P

Sorry to hear of Sean's passing - too young. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences to Carole and family. Although I was an acquaintance through Denise & Darrell Deck I can say that you will be missed by the crew you grew up with. You were always so considerate and caring, truly a gentleman. Carole will be missing part of her soul but I know you will always be with her as you were by each other’s side here. Don’t you and Darrell start stirring up trouble on the other side, we’ll maybe just enough to let the crew down here know you’ve still got it! Rest easy and in peace

I was very sad to hear that Sean had lost his courageous battle with his illness. I worked with Sean at Propak and you could not find a better person anywhere. We spent some time together on some jobs out of the country and he was always a great person to be around. He had a very good personality and a great sense of humor. I will miss those times that we spent together. Please accept our deepest condolences and our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

Words cannot explain how saddened i am by hearing that sean has passed ., i did not know he was sick. I grew up in my teens hanging out with sean and the boys , partying, going to stamps games , engaging in some fisticuffs on occasion and always having a great time . Sean was a great loving guy loyal to his friends and loved sports , he was as tough as nails but had a gentle heart. I never had the pleasure to meet his wife and his family . May god bless you all in your time of sorrow

My deepest condolences go to you Carole, we all loved Sean so much. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The world has lost one of the good guys.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Carole, Mike Rosemary and the rest of Sean’s family. I have such fond memories of my time spent working with Sean at Propak, always such a kind soul, I know he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Stacy & Gord Price
